Begin by purchasing a large 3 ring binder. A 11/2" or larger is best. While in the office supply section also, pick up a hole puncher, a pack of clear plastic sleeves for 8 1/2" x 11" sheets with pre-punched holes, a pack of tabbed dividers, and a zippered pencil pouch with pre-punched holes.

Browse through the "Planning Tools" in this site and print out copies of the Time Line,
Budget Planner
, as many Guest List Manager sheets and Calendar sheets as you need, and the Vendor List sheets.

Place the copies in your binder with the labeled dividers between them. Also include a section of blank pages labeled "To Do" in the front of your binder. Use this to jot down notes randomly. Once a week go through your "To Do" list and mark through the things you have done. Things that need to be done on a specific date, such as hair appointments, photo shoots, etc., write in on the specific date in the Calendar section.

Place several of the clear plastic sleeves in the Vendor List section so that you can insert information, flyers, price sheets, business cards, receipts, etc. from your vendors that you need to keep until after the wedding.

Use the small zippered pencil pouch for smaller items like pens, pencils, hole punch, scissors, paper clips, glue stick, etc.

With the "Attire Checklist" sheet, include several blank sheets and attach color and fabric swatches labeled, "Bridesmaids' Dresses", Bride's Gown", "Flower Colors", etc. You will use this as a reference for the florist, decorators, tuxedo shops, shoe dyers, personal shopping, etc.

Create a tabbed divider in the back labeled "Miscellaneous". Place several blank pages for jotting down information and a couple of plastic sleeves for inserting items. This area would be for those things that need to be done but are in a category all their own.

Some couples like to include a "Honeymoon" section in the rear with plastic sleeves for holding reservation confirmations, airline tickets, maps and information about where they are headed. While it may be convenient to have all the information together, you may feel safer keeping this information in a seperate large envelope or folder that you can pick up on your way out. Whatever works for you is good, just getting it all organized is a task in itself.
However, you do it, remember organization is the KEY!
