Creating an "Information Sheet" for your out-of-town guests is a tremendous courtesy and one that will be remembered and appreciated for years to come.

The sheet should include dates, times and locations of all the events surrounding the wedding that this particular guest will be involved in, such as: showers, teas, parties, rehearsal, rehearsal supper, attire fittings, hair & make-up appointments, wedding, reception, etc. A map to all the above locations would be helpful as well. If they are from another state, informing them of the current local weather conditions - cold, hot, rainy,
etc. - would help them to pack more efficiently.

If your guests are going to be staying in a hotel while they are here, you can include the names, phone numbers, addresses, maps and rates to hotels near the wedding site. If they are flying in, include names
and phone numbers to local rental car facilities.

Provide them with additional phone numbers other than your own, where they may reach someone in the family or wedding party in case of emergency.

If your out-of-town guests have an email address, get it from them so that you can update them frequently
on changes and plans surrounding the event. This will cut down on phone call time and postage for you. If
you are not good with maps direct them to the internet site www.mapquest.com.
where they can find and
print out maps to and from any location in the USA.

You may want to include your "Bridal Registry" information with a phone number to the store and an
address to which the gifts can be mailed or shipped.
